Spinal Flow

Spinal Flow works with the body's innate intelligence to release layers of emotional, chemical, and physical stress along the spine.  Through gentle touch at specific access points, it activates the nervous system's natural ability to self-heal.  As blockages clear, energy and communication flow more freely, restoring balance to your physical, emotional, and energetic systems.  Each session builds upon the last, gently peeling back layers and helping you feel lighter, more aligned, and deeply connected to yourself.

"When the spine is free, the nervous system
can communicate clearly, and the body remembers how to heal."

- Dr. Carli Axford

What is Spinal Flow?

Spinal Flow is a gentle, hands-on modality that works with the spine and nervous system to support the body’s natural ability to release stored stress, tension, and emotional holding. This work is slow, intentional, and deeply regulating — inviting the body out of survival mode and back into a state of safety, flow, and connection. Spinal Flow works with specific access points along the spine that relate to patterns of stress held within the nervous system. These patterns may be physical, emotional, or chemical in nature and are often stored over time through prolonged stress, overwhelm, or survival responses. Using gentle contact - without force, manipulation, or adjustment - Spinal Flow allows the body to reorganize. When the nervous system feels safe, it naturally begins to unwind, regulate, and restore balance. This work does not force change. Instead, it creates the conditions for the body to do what it already knows how to do.

How Spinal Flow Works

Spinal Flow follows a natural process: 1. Gentle contact is applied to specific spinal access points 2. The nervous system receives signals of safety 3. Stored stress patterns begin to soften and release 4. The body shifts out of fight, flight, or freeze 5. Regulation and balance are restored over time This process is led by your body — not forced by the practitioner.

What to Expect in a Session

During your Spinal Flow session: - You lie comfortably on a massage table - You remain fully clothed - Gentle contact is applied to the spine and sacrum - There is no cracking, popping, or force - The session is quiet, calm, and meditative You may notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, changes in breath, emotional release, deep relaxation, or a sense of spaciousness. Each session meets you exactly where you are.

What Spinal Flow Is Not

To support clarity and comfort, Spinal Flow is: - Not chiropractic care - Not massage therapy - Not forceful or invasive - Not talk therapy It is a gentle, nervous-system-focused modality that works with the body rather than on it.
