Welcome to Pause Beauty + Wellness. By booking a service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to create a safe, respectful space for your care, comfort, and relaxation.
Booking
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shortened/canceled session to ensure the next client is not delayed. A $25 late fee may apply.
Cancellations & No-Shows
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 24 notice may be subject to a $40 cancellation fee.
No-Shows will be required to pay a $40 No-Show fee. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payments include cash, debit, or credit card.
Care & Safety
Please inform your practitioner of any medical conditions, recent injuries, allergies, or medications prior to your service. Certain conditions may require medical clearance before treatment. Pause Beauty and Wellness reserves the right to refuse or reschedule a treatment if it is deemed unsafe for the client.
Consent
All clients must sign a consent form before receiving any service. Consent may be withdrawn by either the client or practitioner at any time during the session.
Professional Boundaries
All treatments are strictly professional. Inappropriate behaviour or comments will result in immediate termination of the session, full payment due, and refusal of future bookings.
Confidentiality & Privacy
All client information is kept strictly confidential. Your privacy and comfort are always respected during treatments. Photos or testimonials will only be shared with written consent.
Liability
By receiving services, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Pause Beauty and Wellness and its practitioners are not liable for any injury, reaction, or outcome resulting from services when proper care, hygiene, and professional standards have been followed.
Policy Updates
These terms and conditions may be updated at any time. Continued booking and attendance of services indicates acceptance of the most current policy.
